Measurement framework
A small set of KPIs per use case covering adoption, efficiency, quality and cost — chosen because they are attributable, not because they are easy.
ServiceNow AI Solutions
Baselines before launch, KPIs that survive scrutiny, dashboards leaders read, and a routine for retiring AI that is not working.
Most AI value reporting is retrofitted. Someone asks what the investment delivered, and the team reconstructs a baseline from memory. The resulting number convinces nobody, least of all the finance team.
We set measurement up before launch: what we are measuring, what it is today, how we will attribute change, and what result would cause us to stop. Then we build the dashboards and the routine that reviews them.
All projections we produce are explicitly labeled as projections, with assumptions visible. We do not present modeled benefit as delivered benefit, and you should be skeptical of anyone who does.
The deliverables below are the default scope. We adjust them to your situation during scoping and confirm the final list in writing.

Current performance captured and documented before the AI capability goes live, including seasonality where it matters.
How you will distinguish AI effect from other change, including control groups or phased rollout where that is feasible.
An executive view and an operational view, built from platform data rather than hand-assembled slides.
Licensing, consumption, build and run effort per use case, so value is weighed against real cost.
A quarterly review with explicit continue, change or retire decisions and a named decision owner.
Indicative timings for a typical engagement of this type. Your scope, environment and availability of stakeholders will move them.
Agree what each use case is for and what evidence would show it worked.
Capture current performance and cost, with the data source for each measure documented.
Build dashboards and reporting, validated against a manual calculation before anyone relies on them.
Run the review, make the continue/change/retire call, and record it.
These are the goals we design the engagement around. They are objectives, not guarantees, and the result depends on decisions and effort on your side as much as ours.
A note on accuracy. ServiceNow releases change quickly. Treat the capability descriptions here as a general guide and confirm current features, licensing and prerequisites against the official ServiceNow product documentation for your release.
Questions
We will not give you a number here, and a number from any consultant who has not seen your baseline is marketing. We build the model with your volumes, your cost per contact and your license cost, and we label the output as a projection.
Then you have saved yourself the cost of scaling it. A measurement framework that can only produce good news is not measuring anything. Retirement decisions are part of the routine we design.
Usually one to two full business cycles after launch, depending on volume. Shorter windows tend to capture novelty effects rather than sustained change.
Tell us the symptom rather than the solution. If a different service fits better — or none of ours does — we will say so.
